Central Workshop information
A three-day Central Workshop was held in April 2005 primarily to promote the CHAGAL principles and to find out the extent to which the student-centred approach has been adopted by institutions when it comes to teaching CHAGAL students. Thirty representatives from 20 countries participated. A collection of examples of good practice gathered from the Workshop and a selection picked from the original 16 pilot projects which first tried out the student-sentered approach forms the main part of this publication. They demonstrate the CHAGAL Curriculum Guidelines in action and the benefits for the students and the institutions.
