This is where you define the rules that filter out specific incoming messages. Here for example, the only rule created by the user is that any message over 700Kb in size will not be downloaded. You will be notified that a message has been denied access, but you will not have have to wait through the lengthy process of downloading heavy material.

Bear in mind that anything over that size is either of two pains:

  • a picture sent by a novice user who does not know that images must be converted to JPG format and then sampled down to at most 100Kb before being sent over.
  • an amateurish slideshow forwarded by naive friends who don't realize such objects are meant to slow down the web.
