Ton Koenraad works as an ICT-E Consultant at the Faculty of Education of Utrecht University of Professional Education. He is a member of the Dutch national Expertise Centre 'ICT and Foreign Languages' and participates in professional development programmes of teacher educators and in-service teachers. He is also involved in national and international ICT projects in the fields of Higher Education, MFL and teacher education (Surf, Socrates projects: PRONETT and MICaLL )

Gerard Westhoff is professor of FL at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. Working on the intersection of applied linguistics and cognitive psychology, his main field of interest and research is lately: principles of the design of learning tasks. Main Question: What task characteristics account for learning effect? He also published on topics like reading and learning strategies and methodology of seminars and congresses. He is director of the Dutch National Bureau on foreign language affairs

e-learning Networks in the Virtual Learning Centre of the University

Granada (CEVUG). She holds a PhD with a dissertation on the topic

"Designing WebQuests for learning and teaching second languages".
She
was a secondary school teacher and has worked as a teacher trainer
specialized in the topic of ICT and e-learning. She is involved
in
various national and european e-learning projects (ADELEX, MASSIVE,
REVE, VICTORIOUS).

Having studied English and biology at the universities of Essen, Germany, and Bangor, Wales, and having worked as a scientific assistant at the center for teacher education at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Oliver Fischer is now working as a secondary school teacher at the Elsa-Brändström-Gymnasium in Oberhausen.
