	David Marsh, Finland In 2002, David Marsh produced CLIL - The European Dimension: Actions, Trends and Foresight Potential for the European Commission (DG EAC). This overview of the situation in Europe was used in the compilation of the 2004-2006 EC Action Plan: Promoting Language Learning & Linguistic Diversity. Originating from Australia, and now based in Finland (University of Jyväskylä), he has recently been engaged with development and evaluative tasks on Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), and other aspects of education in Africa, Europe and South-east Asia. In 2004 he produced Special Educational Needs in Europe - The Teaching and Learning of Languages: Insights & Innovation for the European Commission (DG EAC). In 2006 he coordinated development of the VLE CLIL teacher guidance system (CLILCOM). He is currently handling various large-scale educational development initiatives in Russia and Tanzania, alongside various tasks in the EU.

	Stefka Kitanova, Bulgaria She has been teaching Biology and Chemistry in English and Spanish for more than 15 years. For the last 10 years she has dealt with course development, pre-service and in-service teacher training in the field of CLIL/LSP and subjects taught in FL. She has also worked in the field of innovative approaches to language learning/teaching and opportunities for collaboration and cooperation at all levels of the educational system. Stefka Kitanova is coordinator and/or team member of several projects on CLIL/LSP and has been delivering workshops, seminars and summer schools illustrating possibilities for collaboration between subject and language teachers in order to facilitate teachers and students with language as well as to develop communicative skills. She is a schoolbook author and has written many publications on LSP.
	Dieter Wolff, Germany He has been working in foreign language education for the last 30 years. At first specialised in methodological questions, he went on to develop a strong interest in questions of second language reception and production. Now his main interests lie with constructivism as a philosophical and a learning theoretical concept and with bilingual education. He has been working as a consultant for several ministries of education and also been involved in curriculum development. He is responsible at his university for a teacher-training programme for teachers in bilingual education. His publications include articles on content and language educated learning published in journals all over Europe and a book called Fremdsprachenlernen als Konstruktion: Grundlagen für eine konstruktivistische Fremdsprachendidaktik, published in 2002 by Peter Lang.
	Anne Maljers, The Netherlands She is a specialist in bilingual education administration and practice working as head of the Hague office of the European Platform for Dutch Education, which is a national body which also carries responsibility for CLIL/bilingual education in the Netherlands. Founding coordinator of the EuroCLIC network and coordinator of CLIL in the Netherlands with responsibility for national networks and development of CLIL quality instruments, Anne Maljers has considerable experience of trans-national cooperation work.
	Bronislawa Zielonka, Poland She has been an academic teacher of English since 1970, and of Swedish since 1979 (University of Gdansk). She is extensively involved in the field of language acquisition and has produced a number of publications, the most important being the book, "The Acquisition of the Pluperfect: Polish Learners of Swedish as a Foreign Language". The book is her Phd, defended at the University of Stockholm in 2005. She has also published works on general linguistics, the most important areas being aspect/aktionsart and tenses. For the last fifteen years she has also been a teacher trainer, lately involved in CLIL.
