She is the Head of the International Learning and Research Centre, an innovation and development centre established in 2000.The Centre promotes, leads and co-ordinates practitioner research and school-based enquiry programmes, particularly in the teaching and learning of languages. An OFSTED inspector, former Head of a local authority Advisory Service, an English Adviser and headteacher, Mary Rose was a member of the project team for Quality Assurance and Self – Assessment for Schools and Teachers in the first medium term programme of the ECML. She is an experienced trainer, programme designer and consultant in language teaching, leadership and quality domains. |
